Why cant we search posts others have made or that we have made
When you click username and find other posts by user, it just gives you thread started by that user.
When you go through user profile and click on find more posts it says you do not have permission to do that action. Same situation when you try to find posts that even you made. Whats the reason for this? |

I have wondered this also, gets a little annoying having to subscribe to EVERY thread I wanna keep an eye on just because there's no other way to track my posts...
Or is there something I missed..? |

Hi,
I was also surprised at how the admins (and by the way this does not diminish the great job they're doing here) configured the v-bulletin forum. V-bulletin has the feature of listing posts by nickname, the search function really does a search and the "today's post" usually returns threads all over the forum. The only explanation I can think of atm is efficiency, due the large volume of posts in certain subforums and the large number of subforums. But on such a huge forum, these features certainly would ease the navigation! |

As I've posted so many times before, search is disabled, and you need search to access this feature.

To add to Malice's post.....I think it's because of the server overload. Once we get on new servers, we should be able to all have search again. I hope.
